Designer Hangouts
Throughout our second year in grad school, each week, my friend Dani Gobbo and I brought a designer from the field into IU's HCI/d studio via Google Hangouts. This was a tradition passed on by two students the year above us and we have since passed the initiative on to those still in school. These talks allow students the opportunity to gain a variety of perspectives from designers working all over the country.
We invited designers from a range of backgrounds and job experience, including UX design, visual design, game design, and technical design.
The photos below showcase some of these talks.
